Luke is our HSC specialist. He has been teaching in NSW government schools for 31 years. He is currently Head of English at a local high school and enjoys sharing his passion for literature with his students. Luke has current and in depth HSC marking knowledge and expertise. Luke's hobbies include : spending time with his family, going to the gym, early morning jogs, supporting the Parramatta Eels, reading and watching good movies.

Belinda is a high school English and History teacher with a genuine talent in motivating and inspiring  her students . She has her Master of Secondary Teaching from UWS. She is passionate about helping her students gain the confidence and skills they need to become successful learners. Belinda is particularly fond of literature, literary criticism, and modern history. When Belinda is not teaching she is particulary interested and involved in the following hobbies - film, food, reading, and watching the Western Sydney Wanderers live and in action. You may hear her cheering at their games...'Go you Wanderers!'

We are delighted to introduce Lisa to the PBT team!  Lisa is a local  high school English/Society & Culture teacher who loves nothing more than to help her students to achieve their absolute best. She has a real talent for inspiring the love of English within her students. She particularly enjoys modern literature and philosophy. In her spare time Lisa enjoys reading and has a real love for food. She is always on the hunt for new and delicious food to try! That's when she's not at the gym.

Irene is another bright and fabulous asset to our team. She is an English teacher at a local high school and absolutely loves sharing her passion for English, literature and learning new things. Apart from teaching, Irene loves going out with her friends, movies and experimenting with gorgeous new hairstyles! Irene is also our in house resident Escape Room Expert, so if you ever need a puzzle solved, Irene is the one you want on your team!

We are delighted to welcome Gail to our team. Gail has extensive knowledge and experience teaching HSC English. Gail is also an absolute history buff who loves helping people, her family and her chicken! Gail has 25 years experience and wealth of knowledge in English and History. She is currently an English Humanities and Arts Humanities teacher. When Gail is not teaching at PBT, she enjoys computer strategy games, reading and hanging out with her beautiful family, colleagues and friends.

We are proud to introduce Kaitlyn, our new Junior School coordinator. Kaitlyn brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from working withour Senior students. She is currently completing a doube degree in Arts and Secondary Education at Macquarie University. Kaitlyn completed her HSC in 2015 with outstanding results in Advanced English and English Extension 1, receiving Band Six and E3 results, (the highest results possible!) We are proud to have Kaitlyn on our team, and believe that her knowledge and skills help our students reach their personal best goals.

 

Lillian has been teaching in NSW government primary schools, high schools and most recently, TAFE for 20+ years. During this time, she has held a variety of teaching and executive roles, including regional office and Head Teacher positions. She is a qualified and experienced English high school teacher with specific special education and  ESL training. Lillian's particular area of interest is in motivating students to set and maintain goals to reach their personal best. Lillian's hobbies include bush walking, travelling to new places and pilates.

Meet Chelsea, another enthusiastic member of our team. Chelsea is a bright and hardworking young lady who completed her HSC in 2018. As well as providing PBT with her exceptional customer service and dedication to administration, Chelsea loves going on early morning walks and is passionate about working hard to achieve individual goals and results.

Meet Emmaour newest member to the PBT team. Emma joined PBT as a Year 10 student in 2018 and  is now sitting on 'the other side of the table' sharing her skills and expertise with our students. Emma is exceptionally bright, bubbly and a fantastic asset to our team!  Emma has always known that she wanted to be a teacher. Currently studying her Bachelor of Education in the Deans Honor stream at Wollongong University, Emma brings a wealth of knowledge and current HSC experience to our students. She graduated with an exceptional ATAR and outstanding English  results in her HSC 2020. Emma enjoys reading fiction, travelling overseas with friends (most recently to London and Paris) and Physical Culture. She is also a dedicated 'One Direction' fan, recently making the supreme pilgrimage to the UK to see Harry Styles live in concert.

 

Izzy joined our team in 2018. Izzy is extremely passionate about creative and performing arts. She completed her HSC Advanced English course in 2016 when she was in Year 11 as part of her school's accelerated English program. Izzy achieved a Band 6 result. After completing the rest of her HSC courses in 2017 with Band 6 and high Band 5 results in all her subjects, she completed her Dance Performance and Arts Industries Management degree at Macquarie University. She is currently completing her Masters in Creative Industries.   Izzy loves writing in her spare time, walking her dog, long lunches in local cafes, romantic movies and anything Shakespearean in nature! She is an avid 'Romeo & Juliet' devotee and can quote endlessly from this epic tragedy.
