Getting started  ?

Your first session.....We take our job seriously, and we like to spend  time getting to know you before we begin tutoring on a regular basis. After an initial phone call with you, we get to meet you for the first time and design a plan for you to reach your "Personal Best"!

We take the time to sit down with you and find out about how school is going for you and what you are studying. We’ll ask you about the  things you like to do, how you are finding school, and what you find difficult or frustrating. Once you are feeling comfortable, we’ll ask you to do some work. For children in primary school, this is usually a little bit of reading and some writing. For older students, this depends on the area they want to cover at tutoring.

Once we find out what your areas of strength/weakness are in English, we explain what’s happening, and show you how we can begin working on specific areas straight away.  From there, we’ll map out a plan for your tutoring sessions.

Once we know what you need, we can make sure your tutor knows how to help you the best!

Please feel free to make a request regarding your own unique English tutoring goals. We can work from your school report, feedback from your English teacher or any area that you have identified as an area that you would like to improve.
